The home of cricket in Chiswick

Legal support for Creatives, Artists, and Innovators.

The Juniors are the heartbeat of the club and the future of the game.

We have a thriving junior cricket section which is rapidly expanding - but always looking for new players.

If you are interested in your child joining us for the 2017 season - whether or not they have previous cricketing experience - please get in touch.

our programme

We welcome boys and girls of 6+, with or without previous cricketing experience. In the youngest players we develop basic cricketing skills and a love of the game. With older players we work on individual programmes to develop individual players, focusing on applying skills in real match situations. Our programme includes weekly Sunday morning practices, and for older players, competitive matches within the Middlesex league setup.

summer practices

Summer practices are at our Chiswick ground on Riverside Drive, and are from 9-11am (6+ to under 11s) and from 11-1pm (under 12s and above). They take place from late April till July. New players have to register before taking part, but we are always happy for new players to have a try-out week before committing to the club. We have a well-equipped ground with nets, mobile net cage and artificial wicket as well as plenty of space for practising batting, bowling and fielding. Practices are carefully structured to keep everyone involved and interested. Whites are not required for practice.

junior matches

Junior matches take place at Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 age groups. These are mainly on weekday evenings at 6pm, either at our ground or away at the other team's ground. Selection is by merit and organised by age group managers. Whites are required for matches.

our junior manager

Junior Manager Jim Yorath has inspired a new generation of young cricketers, and leads an outstanding team of coaches at Chiswick CC. Jim is passionately committed to the future of community sport in the area, and his efforts have been recognised with a national OSCA award for his work at Chiswick CC.

our coaches

Chiswick CC is fortunate to have an excellent team of coaches, helpers and administrators. All our coaches are ECB qualified and work within ECB guidelines on the support and development of young players. Our coaches work to develop players' skills according to their ability and ambition, and we have a good record of feeding players into the Middlesex county setup.

Chiswick CC is Clubmark accredited, which recognises the club is a safe and equitable environment for young people to play cricket, and that the club is managed and run in an appropriately professional way. Clubmark is a cross-sport Sport England accreditation, and Chiswick was one of the first clubs in west London to be Clubmark qualified.
